My husband Eric and I moved to Pagosa in 2000 and a few years later opened Kip’s Grill & Cantina, which we successfully ran it until the fall of 2022. As a working mother of two, I realized the importance of an early education. Both of my children attended Seeds of Learning throughout their early years. Seeds offers a high-quality learning experience with amazing and caring teachers. I am grateful to be able to help give back by raising funds to keep Seeds available for all the children in the community. Proceeds from this event go toward keeping tuition affordable for families who attend Seeds or Learning Preschool. Seeds offers a sliding scale tuition to meet families at their income level. Over 50% of the students at Seeds are considered at-risk. They desperately deserve a helping hand in education to succeed in life.
